I am told the goaltending will be examined closer on the ice, as there are beginning to be some doubts surrounding Rask's play

.... wait? are you serious? the dude was LITERALLY on fire this season.

If the Bruins lose...

I am told the goaltending will be examined closer on the ice, as there are beginning to be some doubts surrounding Rask's play...personally, that feels like the team is making Rask a scapegoat if true...The Bruins have over achieved on all fronts...Most had them as a bubble team, and very few saw them competing near the top of the NHL... And yet management didn't see this as an over achievement at all when they put some serious future assets into a rental in
Nash
...and you KNOW the people who run the Bruins are hoping they move on to give a little more time and Nash another chance to justify the deal...

The guy rarely steps up for the important games. He is 5-12 in series clinching games and notoriously been "sick" in other important games. He has been a good goalie but his cap is that of much better goalie. Rask has underachieved and if he let's in more soft goals tonight that narrative continues. Really needs to stop puking up a softie right after the Bruins score.

Nobody saw this. That includes the front office. They're a few seasons early.

Who they gave up a 1st for and he has yet to truly make an impact. Based on the way they've played this year the expectation changed mid-season. If the Bruins fall short of the second round especially being up 3-1 in the series, it is an epic choke job and a failure.

JVR and Bozak walk if the Leafs lose. i see no way that JVR doesn't get a better deal somewhere else.

I doubt the Leafs make a major move to upgrade the Blueline. I think there might be enough good talent in the pipeline and as long as the core is locked up they'll have the time to develop Timmy and Eemeli Rasanen.

I am sure the Lightning will be un-gracious hosts to the team that wins tonight. Maybe the loser actually gets the better end of the deal...

No matter which team wins, they will wind up taking out Tampa in a lengthy series.

They should make a trade with the Flyers then, they have a surplus of them.
